The 2009 Annual Meeting of the Dutch Law and Society Association (VSR) will be in Kleve, Germany. ‘Law in a transnational context’ is selected as theme for the conference. The program includes plenary meetings and simultaneous sessions. English will be the main language, although in some workshops the language is Dutch (indicated in the program). An English alternative is available at all times. We would welcome participation from German scholars in Sociology and Anthropology of Law. Das Institut für Anwalts- und Notarrecht und eucon (Europäisches Institut für Conflict Management e.V.) laden Sie zu einer Tagung im Zentrum für Interdisziplinäre Forschung der Universität Bielefeld am 26./27.10.2009 ein, um gemeinsam einige Grundfragen neu zu stellen, die im Bemühen um die Verbreitung des Mediationsgedankens häufig zu kurz kommen. Auch sollen neue Werkzeuge vorgestellt und diskutiert werden, denn die Instrumente und Kunstfertigkeiten der Vermittlung im Konflikt sind nicht statisch, sondern entwickeln sich fort. In beiden Bereichen werden wir Vorträge mit Arbeitsgemeinschaften kombinieren.
